Refund & Cancellation Policy

Membership payments to Rajasthan Foundation Bangalore Chapter have two separate parts, and they are treated differently. Please read this before you pay.

The application fee is not refundable

The one-time application fee of ₹100 is non-refundable in all circumstances, including if your application is not completed, is withdrawn, or is not approved.

It is not a charge for membership. It covers costs the Foundation incurs the moment you apply — identity verification, one-time passwords and messaging, and payment processing charges levied by the payment gateway. Those costs are spent whether or not your application proceeds, and they are not returned to the Foundation when a payment is refunded.

Membership fees are refunded in full

Your membership fee — ₹1,100 annual or ₹21,000 life — is refunded in full if:

• your application is not approved; or
• your application is abandoned and closed by the Foundation.

Youth members pay no membership fee, so a Youth applicant who is not approved has nothing refundable — only the non-refundable application fee was paid.

Abandoned applications

If you pay and then do not complete verification and Form 'A', you can return at any time and continue where you stopped. We will remind you. If an application is still incomplete after 30 days, the Foundation may close it and refund the membership fee, keeping the application fee. You are free to apply again afterwards — a new application fee would apply.

Cancelling after approval

Membership fees are not refundable once membership is approved and your membership number has been issued. Membership may be surrendered at any time, but no refund is due.

How refunds are made

Refunds are made to the original payment method through the payment gateway, normally within 7 working days of approval. Your bank may take a further 3–5 working days to credit it.
