Rajasthan Foundation Bangalore Chapter · Last updated 25 September 2026

This policy explains what personal information Rajasthan Foundation Bangalore Chapter collects through this membership website, why, and what you can do about it.

Who is responsible for your data

Rajasthan Foundation Bangalore Chapter is the Data Fiduciary under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Your information belongs to the Foundation, not to the company that built this site.

EKAPASS TECHNOLOGIES PRIVATE LIMITED operates this website on the Foundation's instructions as a Data Processor. It does not use your data for its own purposes and does not sell it.

What we collect

  • To identify you: name, father's name, date of birth, place of birth, gender and a photograph.
  • To contact you: mobile number, email, telephone and postal address. Your mobile number is verified by a one-time password and is how you sign in.
  • For membership records: employment or business status, native village and district in Rajasthan, and spouse details where you provide them — these appear on Form 'A', the Foundation's statutory membership form.
  • For verification (KYC): if you choose electronic verification, your identity is confirmed through DigiLocker, accessed on our behalf by Meon Technologies, our verification partner. You give consent to DigiLocker directly, and it returns your name, date of birth, address and photograph. The verification details returned are retained in your membership record and stored encrypted; identity numbers are shown only as their last four digits. If you verify offline instead, we store the identity and address documents you upload.
  • For payment: the amount, date, method and the payment gateway's reference. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank credentials — those go directly to the payment gateway.

Why we collect it

  • To process your membership application and maintain the Members' Register, which the Foundation is required to keep.
  • To issue your membership number and identity card.
  • To contact you about your membership, renewals and Foundation activities.
  • To meet the Chapter's obligations under the law it is registered under, and under applicable tax law.

Who else sees it

  • The payment gateway, to take your payment.
  • Meon Technologies, our KYC partner, if you choose electronic verification — to confirm your identity against DigiLocker and, where you give it, your PAN. Meon processes this on the Foundation's instructions and for no other purpose.
  • WhatsApp and SMS providers, to send you codes, receipts and your card.
  • The Foundation's own office bearers, to review and approve applications.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising.

How long we keep it

Membership records, including verification details, are kept for as long as you are a member and afterwards for as long as the Chapter is required to retain its register. Applications that are abandoned or rejected are retained for one year and then removed, except where a payment record must be kept for accounting.

Your rights

You may see your information, correct it, or ask for it to be erased where the law allows. Sign in to this site to view and update your details, or write to [email protected]. Some details that appear on your identity card and in the Members' Register can only be changed with the Foundation's approval.

Security

Traffic to this site is encrypted. Identity numbers are stored encrypted and are never displayed in full. Access to membership records is restricted to authorised office bearers, and every change is logged.
